Best part? Our memberships work at both locations at Regatta Point State Park in Worcester and Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton.

Membership Has Its Perks


With a Regatta Point membership, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to our fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, pedal boats, and more — all summer long. Paddle Members get full paddling access and can bring a guest for free in a tandem or get 50% off a second boat on weekdays. Sailing Members enjoy all paddling benefits plus sailboat access (with certification) and free adult sailing classes. Members are also invited to exclusive events like Moonlight Sails and friendly regattas. Your membership supports our mission of Boating for All — helping us offer scholarships and access for everyone in our community.

Adult Single Paddle $165

 Enjoy unlimited access to kayaks and paddleboards all season long for one adult.

Adult Double Paddle $265

A perfect way for two adults in the same household to explore the water together all season.

Family Paddle $375

A fun-filled option for families—two adults and up to three kids from the same household can explore the water together.

Senior Paddle $115

Special discounted access for adults 62 and older to paddle peacefully all summer.

Military Paddle $115

Thank you for your service—this pass offers full paddling access at a reduced rate.

Student Paddle $115

Affordable adventure on the water for students with unlimited kayak and paddleboard access.

Membership FAQ

  • Our boating season runs from early May through late September, including weekends and weekdays (weather permitting). See our calendar for specific opening and closing dates.

  • A Memberships provides you unlimited access to our fleet of sailboats, kayaks, and paddleboards during regular hours, as well as access to lessons, clinics, and events (based on your membership level). It’s the best way to enjoy the water all season long.

  • Yes, we require a skills check for safety. New members must complete an introductory orientation or class before using boats solo. Sailing ratings can be earned throughout the season.

  • Yes! For sailing, guests are welcome at no extra charge—up to the boat’s capacity—provided the member is certified for that boat. For paddling, guests can ride for free in a tandem kayak or use their own boat for a small daily guest fee. All guests must be accompanied by the member. Guest access is subject to availability and all safety rules.

  • Yes, all equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We maintain a robust fleet, but weekends and holidays may be busier—arrive early for best selection.

  • Nope, we've got you covered. Regatta Point provides U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type III personal flotation devices (PFDs) for all members and guests. You’re also welcome to bring your own Coast Guard-approved PFD or life jacket if you prefer.

  • All individuals must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFD (life jacket) at all times while on the dock or in any boat.

  • The member is responsible for their own safety and the safety of everyone in their group. While Regatta Point staff may assist in emergencies under the Good Samaritan Law, we are not obligated to do so. Please boat responsibly and know your limits.

  • Required or Strongly Recommended:

    • Weather-appropriate clothing (preferably synthetic—avoid cotton)

    • Sunglasses with a lanyard (polarized recommended)

    • Hat with a visor

    • Closed-toed water shoes

    • Small water bottle or hydration system

    • Any personal prescriptions (e.g., EpiPen, inhaler)

    • Sunscreen

    Optional Items:

    • Waterproof camera

    • U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type III PFD (if you prefer to use your own)

    • Extra change of clothes

    • Towel

    • Lip balm with sunscreen

  • We provide all necessary paddling equipment, including boards, paddles, and U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices (PFDs).

  • Yes! We love dogs. They are always welcome but must remain on a leash at all times.

    In Worcester we even have limited number of PFD's for your canine companions.

  • For safety reasons, jumping off docks or boats is not allowed. However, each location has a designated swim area you’re welcome to use.

  • Yes. In 2025 the daily parking rate at either location is $8 for Massachusetts residents and $30 for non-residents. You can pay at the on-site parking station or through the Yodel app.

    Season passes and senior lifetime passes are also available for Massachusetts residents that cover nearly all Massachusetts state parks for a discounted fee. See the DCR website for details. A season parking pass is available for $60 and is valid at all Massachusetts state parks. You can pay at the on-site parking station or through the Yodel app.
