All Junior Rowers –  Learn from the best!

Happy 2021! Thank you for inviting All-American to Worcester and Lake Quinsigamond. We are thrilled to return to new places year to year but also super excited to be coming to a new location for our camps. Worcester is one of the most historic locations in America for rowing and the history of amazing teams and races just makes it all the better site for a Juniors Rowing Camp. All-American was founded in 1999 and we have conducted hundreds of camps all over the world and can’t wait to visit you.

Jim Dietz and Mark Wilson will be your camp coaches and we hope to bring our experienced eyes, some challenging drills, and always thinking about helping you make your rowing more consistent, efficient, productive and enjoyable! We will be together for two-three day sessions with time to work on boat/oar rigging, do plenty of video review as well as any questions or foundational discussion that comes up.

Rowing Camp goals for you will be varied and people get into rowing for various reasons but ultimately, we want every young rower to get the absolute best start to the sport so it becomes a true life long joy. Racing is important so we will take the first three days to work on technical aspects of the sport in a little slower pace with plenty of time to learn. The second three days will be focused on workouts and building speed. This will be a very intensive but rewarding camp with the most passionate and professional coaching duo on the water.

Our Mission:

All-American Rowing Camp strives to do exactly what our name implies, We travel the country and conduct professional, progressive, positive and FUN rowing camps for those who have won national championships and those who want to.

Our company and cadre of coaches conduct 25 to 35 camps annually and we love what we do and it shows.  We are often invited to return year after year to hon skills and meet new rowers at the same club.  Our style of coaches is one that supports your good habits and works to correct less desirable ones.  We strive to make noticeable changes at every camp no matter if you have been rowing for a few months or a few decades.

Testimonials From Our Rowers

Mark and Jim, I am really impressed with how you were able to provide excellent coaching to rowers at different skill levels all In the same camp. The individual feedback and videos were extremely helpful, as was the rigging instruction — and especially your encouragement (and patience!) for those of us who may not pick it up on the first or fiftieth try. Also, you both have one of the lowest arrogance / credentials ratio of about any rowing coach I’ve ever encountered. Thanks for a great camp!

Mark, Many thanks for visiting and especially for the time and effort you put in to the camp. Your zeal is contagious too! Across the board every rower can’t wait to get out and continue with their sequences and drills.

We are extremely fortunate to have your guidance and I promise we will do our best to keep instilling what you and your staff have shown us!

I’ve already been asked if we can get weekly video sessions too. As you know those are invaluable.

You left everyone here very excited and they are spreading the gospel to other club members too.

The venue and the weather were great but it’s the special flair you bring that really jumps out.

Hope to see you soon.

After returning home from camp, I had a great row this morning. So many of the techniques that you were coaching me on, came together today. It was like a mini Mark and Jim were sitting on my shoulders, calling drills, coaching and encouraging.

It was a glorious morning, feeling the improvements in my stroke and my boat’s rigging.

Thank you again for a fabulous camp! You both give such incredible input, in such a fun, positive, amusing style!

Dear Mark,

We all could not say enough wonderful things about your coaching and the All American Rowing program the entire ride home! We learned so much, and had such a fabulous time! Thank you so much for all that you did to make it such a terrific experience! I definitely want to make your training an annual thing that I do to keep improving my technique. We have been talking a lot to our teammates about how great your camp was, so we’ll have no problem getting a group together for next summer. There are a lot of people interested now 🙂

Thank you again for one of the best rowing experiences of my life!

Sign up for our Sculling Camp and learn how to make your rowing more productive and enjoyable!
