This Fact About Hopkinton Left Me In Shock

We acquired Hopkinton State Park because of how great the place was.

But I was surprised when I checked the visitors’ reviews…

And almost every single review about Hopkinton was great!

On TripAdvisor, there are 47 excellent reviews, 24 very good ones, 4 average ones, and only one terrible review. (There always has to be at least one terrible review—otherwise there’s something suspicious!)

Anyways, here’s what some people say about Hopkinton State Park on TripAdvisor:
“I loved my experience with the family at HOPKINTON STATE PARK.
It’s a 30 minute drive from where we live! Went on a Sunday! It wasn’t extremely busy.The water was clean, serene, peaceful! A few families were having a BBQ picnic. Lots of grills. I could count over thirty in strategic safe distance places all over the lake.”

“I live nearby so this is the place to be with friends in the summer. My church goes there every year for pleasure and a great barbecue. The children bathe in the lake and the place is very secure.

“Every summer, we make it a point to visit Hopkinton State Park for some swimming at the lower lake. It’s a kid-friendly freshwater lake with beach and a large, roped-off swimming section at about 7 feet in depth. Lifeguards (3 stations) are on-duty from 11 am to 6pm on summer weekends. The lake is closed to swimming on weekdays.”

“We walked over the dam all the way to the boathouse. It was beautiful. We were there the last day the boathouse was open so we rented a paddle boat and went all around the lake. Highly recommended.”

Please note these reviews are a little dated. There aren’t many reviews from 2023 onwards. But with the changes we’re doing to Hopkinton State Park, we hope that’s about to change.
