Things Found At Lake Quinsig’s Bottom

The other day, I was doing research on the dugout canoes found in 2001 at the bottom of Lake Quinsig.
When I stumbled upon something AMAZING.

It turns out there’s this recreational diver, Mike Kalinowski, who has pulled all sorts of items from Lake Quinsigamond.

You see, the bottom of this lake is FOUR miles long!!

And he has a cool underwater vehicle (which he operates remotely) to explore it.

Among the many things he has found are:

✔️ An old steamer that crashed and sank in 1897, after it pulled up to one of the lake’s islands.
✔️ A stolen car, which was then removed from the lake after he called the police
✔️ Old Polar Beverage bottles
✔️ Tires

You can find some pictures of what Mr. Kalinowski has found below. (All credit goes to masslive dot com. You can find the full article here.)

It doesn’t cease to surprise me the amount of things one can do in Lake Quinsigamond…

…And the amazing people that reside here or visit the place frequently.
