Opening The Memory Vault

I’ve been promoting our memberships a lot because the boating season is about to begin.

And I was running out of ideas to give to my marketing team, when I recalled something:
I have an old “memory vault” lying on my computer.

It’s a Google Drive folder filled with pictures taken at Worcester.

Initially I opened the vault looking for “inspiration”. But I got a little nostalgic and thought of sharing these pictures with you.

This is the “official staff picture” of the Regatta Point family in 2015.

Today, only two of us still remain: Lucas (second row, all the way right), and myself (bottom row, second from left).

That same year, I took a few aerial pictures of Lake Quinsigamond. This was in fall. You can see the beautiful autumn trees sprinkled in the forest. Also notice how huge Lake Quinsigamond is! No wonder it’s been awarded as one of the best places to row in.
Here you can see an entire army of sailboats. Each one is commanded by a young captain. Why so many sailboats? Because this picture was taken at the 2016 Junior Olympics, hosted at Lake Quinsig of course!
This was an interesting invention that took place in 2017: Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga classes. Our instructor was Cindy.
And this is a Christmas picture at the boathouse. You may wonder why the boathouses were open during Christmas that year (2019).

Well, it’s because we decided to move Christmas to July. We made a whole event about it and lots of sailors—new and experienced—showed up!

Anyways, those are some pictures pulled out and dusted off from the memory vault.

As you can see, at Regatta Point we’re constantly making new events. We put fun (and safety) as a priority in everything we do.
