Have a good look at this picture:
This is a painting of a college Regatta that took place in 1865 between Yale and Harvard.

It was hosted on Lake Quinsigamond, which has extensive history. Let me tell you about it.

Competitive rowing teams first came to Lake Quinsigamond in 1857. They found the water ideal and founded boating clubs.

The lake became more popular as the years passed. And in 1895, local schools already held crew races on the lake.

Then, in 1952, Lake Quinsigamond hosted the National Olympic rowing trials. In 1979 it hosted the US National regattas. And in 2005, the US Masters Nationals.

And today…

Lake Quinsigamond is considered the fourth best natural body of water for rowing in the world.

So if you like rowing, paddling, or sailing…

And want to have a fun and safe time, or take place in competitive Regattas…

Then Lake Quinsigamond is the right place:
