Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe another season has come and gone. While the boats are away for the winter, we are hard at work planning for our 60th year. But we need your help keeping “Boating for All!” alive for future generations of sailors, rowing and kayakers.

I am asking for your generous support in funding boating experiences for economically disadvantaged youth on #GivingTuesday, December 3, 2019 .

Boating teaches kids so much.  It starts on the first day when children unplug from their cell phones and engage their curiosity.  Sailing teaches kids to self-advocate, set lofty goals and develop teamwork skills. Rowing instills in kids that every moment counts, that each stroke builds on the one before.

We cannot do it alone. We need your help to keep the dream alive so that no child is ever turned away from Regatta Point because of their ability to pay.

100% of your donations go directly to keeping sailing affordable, there are no administrative costs taken out.  All contributions are tax deductible.

In the 2019 Boating Season:

– Your donations allowed us to award 113 scholarships to youth from the region.

– That translates into $25,000 worth of awards. We raised $13,000 but had to dip into our savings to meet the $12,000 shortfall.

We need your help to continue to provide a safe, healthy and most importantly affordable place for the children of Worcester to boat and interact with the environment.

Your gift today will empower tomorrow’s youth.
