Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe another summer has come and gone. During these challenging times, it’s the small things that made a difference. So many families were able to connect with each other on a sailboat. It was great seeing old friends kayaking the day away while still social distancing. Young, old and everyone in between were able to enjoy a warm summer day on Lake Quinsigamond.

Many people have remarked that boating this season felt like a slice of normality in an otherwise chaotic world. We couldn’t agree more! The water always has a calming effect – a way to sooth the wary soul and calm the mind. That’s why we feel so blessed to do this work and be able share our love of the water with you.

We continue to need your support to help carry us through the winter and our preparations for next season. Our capacity for innovation, flexibility and creativity is directly tied to the financial resources we have – and they are tight. COVID-19 has changed so much for all of us. While the boats are away for the winter, we will be planning for the new normal. It is our sincere hope that we will be able to safely offer more of our programs next season. We want to bring back sailing and rowing for everyone. Please help us adapt to these changes with a tax-deductible contribution.

We were able to keep ourselves afloat with some sailing and a lot of kayaking this year. But the real difference was made by people like you, who donated in an effort to help us make sure everyone can enjoy time on the water and all that Lake Quisigamond has to offer.

Thank you,
Casey Duva
